Curtain Wall Installation and Repair in Yorba Linda
A curtain wall gives a building its look while keeping out water and wind and holding up through everything California’s building codes account for. Golden Glass designs, builds, and installs curtain wall systems for Yorba Linda office buildings, medical centers, and mixed-use developments, and we’ve been doing this kind of work for more than 40 years. We get involved early and coordinate with your architect and general contractor, so the drawings and glass specs are settled before anything is fabricated. We also handle repairs and full replacements on older buildings where the seals have failed, the glass has fogged, and the cooling bill keeps climbing. If you’re putting a facade package out to bid, we’re happy to take a look.
Heavy Glass Offices and Interior Walls
Frameless heavy glass has become the standard for offices that want separation without closing everything off. Golden Glass builds and installs heavy glass office fronts, conference room walls, partitions, and entry systems for Yorba Linda businesses, using thick tempered panels and very little hardware so daylight carries across the floor. We supply the hardware that goes with it, including patch fittings, pivots, closers, and locks, and we can add sound-rated glass where a conference room needs privacy. Because we fabricate in-house, we can measure after the framing is up and still hit your completion date, which is usually where these packages fall behind. For offices, showrooms, hotels, and medical suites in Yorba Linda, CA, heavy glass looks sharp and holds up to constant use.
Sun Shades for Yorba Linda Commercial Properties
The afternoon sun is hard on a west-facing building, and once that heat gets through the windows, your air conditioning spends the rest of the day catching up. Sun shades block the light before it reaches the glass, which lowers cooling costs, cuts the glare for anyone sitting near a window, and adds some shape to a flat wall. Golden Glass designs and installs aluminum sunshade systems around how your Yorba Linda building actually faces the sun, with options ranging from simple outriggers to louvered blades and custom configurations we develop with your design team. Shades are also a practical way to improve an older building’s energy use without replacing all the glass. Contact Golden Glass to learn more about sunshades for your Yorba Linda property today.
Point-Supported Glass for Yorba Linda Lobbies and Atriums
When you want a wall of glass with almost nothing in the way, point-supported glass is how it gets done. Often called spider glass, these systems hold tempered panels with stainless steel fittings instead of framing each one, and glass fin walls go a step further by using glass in place of steel supports. The tolerances on these projects are tight, since everything has to line up exactly once the panels show up on site, and doing our own fabrication is what lets us get it right. Golden Glass installs point-supported systems for Yorba Linda corporate lobbies, hotels, campus buildings, and flagship retail spaces. We also repair spider glass systems and replace individual panels on existing buildings, so contact our team whenever you need us.
